Discover the new Leonardo Royal Hotel in Baden-Baden: A premier spa destination
We are excited to announce the reopening of the Leonardo Royal Hotel in Baden-Baden, following a comprehensive refurbishment and repositioning into a full-service spa hotel. This transformation marks a significant milestone for the property.

A modern spa & resort experience
Baden-Baden, known for its rich history and status as one of Germany's leading spa and wellness destinations, now features the revamped Leonardo Royal Hotel. The old hotel rooms and traditional public areas have been transformed into a modern and open spa & resort hotel, designed to attract new customers and corporate clients.
All 121 rooms and bathrooms have been fully renovated, featuring contemporary interior designs that blend comfort with elegance. The ground floor has undergone a significant makeover, with traditional walls between the lobby, bar, and restaurant removed to create a more open and inviting atmosphere. This redesign was led by chief designer, Mr. Andreas Neudahm, from the architectural firm bearing his name.
Enhanced wellness facilities
The hotel's two basement floors have been converted into a spacious spa and wellness area, complete with a new swimming pool, various saunas, and several treatment and relaxation rooms. The outdoor area, featuring a large garden, has been better integrated with the wellness facilities to enhance the overall guest experience.
Significant investment for long-term value
Pandox, in collaboration with the operator Leonardo, has invested a total of MEUR 8 during 2023-2024 to bring this vision to life.
Martin Creydt, SVP Asset Management International, comments, "This investment is a wonderful example of how Pandox, together with our professional operator, can create value-add activities to improve business and performance long-term."
